Howdy, y’all!

It’s a little gloomy today, weather-wise, but I have something to cheer y’all right up!!

A really gorgeous lake wedding, of course! Meet Morgan and Zack!!

Morgan was actually a bridesmaid in Victoria and Jonathon’s wedding…and super small world, Zack’s mom was my softball coach when I was, like, 5! Haha! So needless to say, being at this wedding was definitely comfortable! 🙂

I LOVED working with Morgan and Zack! Morgan was the epitome of a bridechilla (opposite of a bridezilla), especially with the rain situation. I give both of them major props for being so laid back and focusing on the most important part…tying the knot!

Ok, so before we move on to the actual photos, I wanted to talk about their venue. They got married at the Great River Lodge, which is about 20 min from downtown Memphis in Proctor, Arkansas. This was my first wedding there, but not my first time shooting there. Oh my gosh. This venue. SO versatile. Lakes at literally every corner of the property. Had it been not raining 20 minutes before photos started, we would have had even more options to shoot. For all of my future brides looking for a rustic lake venue close to Memphis……….I HIGHLY recommend this one. Food was awesome. The venue didn’t tell me to say that or anything. I’m just telling you that, as a photographer, I LOVED shooting there. Anyways, enough of my blabbin’…On to the photos, y’all!

Can you believe this ceremony setup? I’m in love!

I thought this was a really cool idea! Morgan and Zack had a a gorgeous wood table that they branded at the reception! It was fun to watch, and I’ve never seen that before! Points for creativity, y’all!! 🙂

So not only did Zack’s dad officiate the ceremony…he also played in the band! One man, many hats! People were bustin’ a move ALL NIGHT LONG!! I would highly recommend them! They were AWESOME!

I had such a great time at Morgan and Zack’s wedding. It was gorgeous! Even with rain, their day was perfect! So happy to be a part! Congratulations!!
